IIM Nagpur’s Margadarshan, a student mentorship initiative, is a unique and impactful effort to build young and budding corporate managers and leaders, enabling them to smoothly transition into the corporate sector after completing their MBA. For the MBA batch of 2025-2027, the program is set to commence on 10th August 2025.
One of the key elements of this course is mentoring by senior industry leaders who act as Margadarshaks, providing students with deep insights into the corporate world. This year, 72 senior leaders from various organizations across India have graciously volunteered to be a part of the Margadarshan program.
The program will commence with an inaugural ceremony, featuring a welcome address by Dr. Bhimaraya Metri, Director of IIM Nagpur, followed by an inaugural address by Chief Guest Mr. Rajeev Dubey, Chairman of Mahindra Insurance Brokers Ltd, Mahindra Steel Service Centre Ltd, and Mahindra First Choice Wheels Ltd, and Member of the Governing Body of the International Labour Organization (ILO), Geneva.
Saddled on the lap of the full credit course “Professional Management Practice” (PMP), Margadarshan is specifically designed for first-year MBA students. The course aims to help them build key professional attributes required in the corporate sector and make them truly “Corporate Ready.” The pedagogy of this course is both experiential and experimental, offering students the opportunity to not only learn through hands-on methods but also to reflect and experiment on themselves using the insights gained.
