IIM Nagpur welcomes Dr. K. V. Subramanian, the Chief Economic Advisor to the Government of India, for the launch of Athena- The Economics and Public Policy (EPP) SIG, IIM Nagpur. Dr Subramanian will be delivering the inaugural address on ‘Economics and Public Policy for Future Managers’, at the event.
About the Guest:
Dr K.V. Subramanian is the current Chief Economic Advisor to the Government of India. Mr. Subramanian has worked in expert committees for the Securities and Exchange Board of India and the Reserve Bank of India, being part of major economic and corporate reforms in India.
In his corporate experience, he has worked with JP Morgan Chase, ICICI Bank, and Tata Consultancy Services. He was also a board member in Bandhan Bank, the National Institute of Bank Management, and the Reserve Bank of India Academy. He has been a part of the finance faculty at Goizueta Business School at Emory University, USA. Dr Subramanian is also currently a tenured Professor at the Indian School of Business and earlier worked as an Executive Assistant to the Chairperson of the Fixed Income Money Markets and Derivatives Association of India. Dr. K V Subramanian is an alumnus of IIT Kanpur, IIM Calcutta, and the University of Chicago.
