Prof. Nikunj Kumar Jain is Associate Professor of Production and Operations Management at IIM Nagpur. He has completed his Fellow Program in Management (PhD) from IIM Indore and B.Tech (Electrical Engineering) from MANIT, Bhopal. He has previously worked with IMT Ghaziabad, IMI Delhi and FORE School of Management Delhi. He has cross-functional work experience in a green field refinery project at Bharat Oman Refineries Ltd. Bina, Sagar (M.P.).

He has conducted training programs on Operations Excellence, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Management, Project Management, Data Analytics, Scientific Rigor and Statistical Modelling to various industries for middle and senior management. He has also conducted workshops on Structural Equation Modelling and Research Methodology for academicians.

He has published research papers in International Journals like Business Strategy and the Environment, Transport Policy, Research in Transportation Business and Management, Journal of Cleaner Production, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Studies, Electronic Commerce Research and Applications, Marketing, Intelligence and Planning, Asia-Pacific Journal of Marketing and Logistics, Telematics and Informatics, Renewable and Sustainability Energy Reviews, Renewable Energy and Energy Strategy Reviews. He has also published case studies in Asian Journal of Management Cases, Emerald Emerging Markets Case Studies and the Case Centre.

His research interests lie in the areas of Sustainable Supply Chain Management, Circular Economy, Industry 4.0, Logistics and Distribution Management, Retail Operations, Game Theory Applications in Supply Chain Management, and Statistical Modelling & Optimization of real-life problems.
