The session was instrumental in understanding the process of Mergers & Acquisitions and impact of such deals on the concerned organizations. The session started with looking at how the M&A deal between UPL and Arysta evolved and what challenges did these organizations face. The speaker also touched upon the importance of leadership in both the sides of the organization to make the deal a successful one. Then we looked at how cost synergy is crucial in M&A but more importantly, it is essential to have a balanced head to heart ratio. The session ended on one of the important leadership lessons of how it is always better to under-commit and over-deliver.
