IIM Nagpur launches a bespoke, first of its kind course called “Professional Management Practice” (PMP). Designed to arm first year PGP students with professional / leadership attributes essential for a successful career in the corporate world – PMP has been designed and will be taught by Dr. Mukund Vyas, faculty at IIM.
Using cutting edge psychometric tools, immersive experiences, action learning projects and tailored with 1:1 mentoring from senior leaders from corporate houses, the course aims to help students hone skills to be near-perfect ‘Corporate Ready’.
At the beginning of the course, students will use diagnostics to assess themselves on the identified leadership attributes and develop an action plan to harness them into management strengths guided by the course faculty.
Throughout the year they will engage in real life activities, action learning projects, immersive experiences, master classes by experts, continuous self-reflection and more, to engrain those skills into their strengths so that ultimately, each student stands out from the crowd when they apply for job and start their careers.
To cultivate a holistic experience, they will be mentored by leaders from corporates who have partnered with IIM Nagpur for this course to support students throughout their journey, aligning their theory to real world in corporate practice.
The course faculty, Dr. Mukund Vyas, comes from the corporate world of over 26 years of versatile experience in Leadership Development within large Multinational conglomerates.
