IIM Nagpur was delighted to host Mr. Nikhileshwar Singh, HR Director- Technology, NatWest Group for another amazing session as a part of our flagship leadership Webinar Series -VIHAAN 2.0. The theme of the discussion was “Will the Future of Work be WFH, Physical or Hybrid ?”
The discussion started with Mr. Singh giving a brief about how the work scenario has changed over the last year due to the pandemic outbreak. He elaborated on how the nature of business will be a key factor in determining the new ways of working. He mentioned the importance of physical presence as a means to promote collaboration, culture, and stronger engagement which have made it indispensable in spite of the hybrid working models. Further, he provided insights on the major challenges faced by HRs in the present scenario which include the intricacies associated with the applications of immigration laws and labor legislation as well as ensuring the physical and mental well-being of employees.
The conversation ended with Mr. Nikhileshwar telling about the necessity of conducting interventions that ensure high employee motivation, performance and engagement which again emphasizes the fact that human interface is tough to replace.
