Nagpur | February 2: The Professional Development Program for Principals of CBSE Schools was inaugurated by Dr. Bhimaraya Metri, Director IIM Nagpur, on Thursday. The development program was organized following the Ministry of Education’s recognition of IIM Nagpur as an Institute of eminence.

Addressing the over 30 CBSE schools’ delegates, Dr. Metri said, “NEP 2020 was a revolutionary educational policy that focused on developing the holistic human being. It is this policy which will transform the educational arena.” To achieve this transformation in the education section, he added that all those associated with teaching should get enough exposure in various contexts.

“IIM Nagpur is the best campus among all of the IIMs. World-class institutes like IIM Nagpur can make India the leader. We all need to be proactive in transforming our education system to ensure that we become ‘Vishwaguru’ again,” Dr. Metri said.
