IIM Nagpur was delighted to host Dr. Sunil Singh, CHRO of Cadila Pharmaceuticals and Mr Vijay Sivaram, CEO, Quess Corp, for the first session of our flagship webinar series – Vihaan.
In his address, Dr Singh shared his mantra of “Always follow your heart & true self, and they guide you to the correct path”. He shared his insights on individual goals, the handling of periodic disruptions, as well as their strategic importance. The invaluable message of handling interruptions strategically to reflect the broader aspect of one’s work was one of the core points of his conversation. Dr. Singh suggested that the students should consider themselves lucky to be part of this change and encouraged them to put forward bold ideas, as uncertainty is the best time to experiment and learn. The Institute is grateful to Dr Singh for an excellent session.
Students also had the privilege to host Mr. Vijay Sivaram, CEO of QUESS CORP – IT Staffing and APAC Operations, for the webinar series. Mr. Vijay provided his insights on the importance of being resilient amidst these changing times. He talked about how one should be sure about the vision and the destination, keeping in mind the shared purpose. He also emphasized on going back to the basics while leading in times of continuous change and refrain from getting comfortable in our own spheres.
