IIM Nagpur was delighted to host Mr. Amit Kumar Agarwal, Founder and CEO, NoBroker, for another amazing session as a part of our flagship Leadership Webinar Series – VIHAAN 2.0. The theme of the discussion was “How to start a start-up?”
The discussion started with Mr. Agarwal sharing some anecdotes from his startup journey and how NoBroker has proved to be a successful business model. He also mentioned the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the industry and how NoBroker has dealt with the challenges. He further gave some insightful lessons on how to choose our career paths based on our interests and how to balance risks associated with start-ups. He then shed light on some of the common mistakes made by entrepreneurs in the initial phases, the importance of being agile, and tweaking the business as per customer expectations.
He concluded the session on an encouraging note by highlighting the importance of taking calculated risks in life. Our gratitude to Mr Agarwal for the insightful session.
