IIM Nagpur was delighted to host Mr. Arvind Kumar, Chief Executive Officer, Dukes India, for a session of our flagship Leadership Webinar Series – VIHAAN 2.0. The theme of the discussion was “Opportunities don’t happen, you create them and they are always outside your comfort zone.”
The discussion started with Mr. Arvind expressing his views about the growth and risk model, which is a journey to come out of the comfort zone to face challenges, learn, and develop solutions.
He touched upon key parameters such as building relationships, having gratitude, having a strategy for structured and unstructured decisions, and shared multiple real-life examples. He summarized that each brand has its own story so, they should build the capacity and transfer the energy to experience growth. He exclaimed, ‘Biscuits are the best-packaged food available at the cheapest rate!’.
He also emphasized that the need of the hour is to find out the skills that are not in machines, and develop competencies ourselves. He encouraged students to take up entrepreneurship and guided them through the process.
