IIM Nagpur was delighted to host Mr. Giridharan Raghunathan, Principal, Qwixpert Consulting, for another amazing session as a part of our flagship Leadership Webinar Series – VIHAAN 2.0. The theme of the discussion was “How Consulting Industry is evolving in current times, skill sets expected from consultants and demystifying some common myths.”
The discussion started with Mr. Giridharan sharing some experiences from his professional life in which he beautifully explained how a consultant should aim to become a problem solver rather than a domain specialist. Then, talking about how to stay relevant to clients in current times, he emphasized that the focus should be on leveraging the technology and keeping abreast of the disruptions.
He also shed light on the skill sets expected from consultants in the industry and how it has evolved to demand recommendations and implementation suggestions from the consultants.
Lastly, Mr. Giridharan also discussed how collaboration with clients rather than outsmarting them makes life much easier for a consultant.
