IIM Nagpur was delighted to host Mr. Shiv Kumar, Associate Director – HR at Lowe’s India for another amazing session as a part of our flagship leadership Webinar Series -VIHAAN 2.0. The theme of the discussion was “Career Path after MBA & Skill Sets to ace your dream role ”
The discussion started with Mr. Shiv explaining why trusting people is more important in the virtual mode and how communicating is crucial to create a cohesive environment. He pointed out the multi-dimensional aspect of the word ‘Diversity’ and explained how it ensures less politics and more engagement in a corporate setup. He emphasized on the importance of peer feedback and suggested students to move out of their comfort zone, go over and beyond the expected academic results and start applying their learning in the dynamic business scenario.
