IIM Nagpur was delighted to host Ms. Pritika Padhi, Chief Manager – Talent Management & Compensation and Benefits, L&T Financial Services, for yet another amazing session of our flagship Leadership Webinar Series – VIHAAN 2.0. The theme of the discussion was “Readiness of the industry to accept permanent work from home as the new norm.”
The discussion started with Ms. Pritika briefing about the history of remote working and explaining how work from home is not a new trend. She summarized the session with pros and cons such as flexibility and balance, improved productivity, availability of diverse talent base, cost savings, increased stress, unstructured human interactions and blurred lines between personal and professional lives.
She also touched upon key parameters such as the socio-economic divide and the introvert-extrovert divide. She emphasized on key considerations for permanent work from home such as infrastructure, role crafting, organization culture and governance protocols. She concluded the session with the discussion about how the future of remote working may evolve.
